Q: What types of daytime events can I host at the Zoo?
We welcome company meetings, team retreats, luncheons, family reunions, baby showers, and community gatherings. If you’re not sure if your event is a fit, just ask!

Q: How far in advance do I need to book?
We ask that daytime events be booked at least two weeks in advance to secure your preferred space and date.

Is Zoo admission included with my event?
Yes. Admission is required for all daytime events and will be added to your final invoice at the discounted group rate.

Q: Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Outside catering is welcome. Due to our liquor license, outside alcohol is not permitted, but bar services can be arranged directly through the Zoo.

Q: What happens if it rains?
Daytime events are rain or shine, but weather can impact which animals are on exhibit. If severe weather significantly affects your event, our team will work with you to reschedule when possible.

Q: Is there parking available for my guests?
Yes, free parking is available in the Zoo’s main lot.

Q: Do daytime events support the Zoo?
Absolutely. Every event helps fund animal care, habitat preservation, and conservation programs at Cameron Park Zoo.
