Thank you for considering a Birthday Party at Cameron Park Zoo. We’re excited to celebrate your special day and create unforgettable memories while also supporting conservation, habitat preservation, and animal care through the Cameron Park Zoological & Botanical Society.
🐾 Party Packages
Each party package comes with admissions for your guests that day, a 2 hour reserved spot for your group, and a small gift from the Zoo for the birthday person!
Up to 15 Guests – $300
Up to 30 Guests – $450
Reptile Animal Ambassadors – $50
(Please note: Reptile encounters are available only when temperatures are between 60–95°F.)
Party Favors – $8 per favor, 2 small snacks & small plushie

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. An Events Team member will confirm details and send the final invoice a week before your birthday party. The invoice must be paid before your birthday party can begin.
Birthday party packages are reserved at a set rate based on the reserved guest count and are not adjusted after the event based on attendance.

How many guests can attend?
You can book for up to 15 guests or 30 guests . The number includes children and adults.
If your group exceeds the 15 or 30, additional attendees will need to pay regular daily admission.
Zoo Members do not count toward your guest total.
Can I bring outside food and drinks?
Yes! Outside food and drinks are welcome.
Can I decorate?
Yes, but no balloons or hanging decorations, for the safety of our animals.
Where do guests check in?
All guests check in at membership entrance under the birthday party name.
What if it rains?
Birthday parties are held rain or shine, but we’ll work with you to reschedule if severe weather affects your date.
Do I need to pay in full when I book?
A $50 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. The balance is due one week before your party.
What time should we arrive?
Guests may arrive up to 15 minutes before the scheduled party time to check in and set up.
What is the Reptile Animal Ambassador add-on?
The Animal Ambassador add-on brings a live reptile encounter directly to your party! Guests will meet two reptiles, which may include a tortoise, snake, or lizard, presented by one of our trained staff members.
What reptile will we get?
Reptile selection varies and is weather-dependent. Our team will choose the best reptiles for your party based on the temperature and animal well-being on the day of your event.
What time will the animals arrive?
- For 9:30–11:30 AM parties, the encounter begins at 10:00 AM
- For 1:30–3:30 PM parties, the encounter begins at 2:00 PM
The presentation lasts approximately 20–30 minutes.
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
If weather conditions are not suitable, our team will contact you to discuss options, which may include rescheduling the encounter or removing the add-on.
What happens after the 2-hour reservation?
Guests are welcome to enjoy the Zoo until closing, but the reserved party space must be vacated at the end of your booked time.
Is there a place to store gifts/ extra food etc after the party if we want to enjoy the zoo longer?
Yes! You’re welcome to leave items with our Membership & Events team while you explore the Zoo. Please note, storage space is limited and does not include air conditioning or refrigeration.
