Membership FAQ

How do I renew my membership?
You may renew your membership at any time online or in person at the Zoo’s membership booth (Thursday-Sunday) or Gift Shop.

Can I visit the Zoo before I receive my membership card?
Yes. If you purchase your membership at the zoo, they will give you a temporary pass. If you purchase online, make sure and bring a copy of your receipt. The Membership Entrance booth can look up your name as well, just bring an ID

Can I bring guests with my membership?
Your membership covers the named adults on the membership card. If you have a Family, Grandparent, Sustainer or Patron level membership, your children/grandchildren 17 & under are also covered. Your guests may use your one day free passes or they will need to pay at one of our general admission ticket booths.

How can I change my Membership information?
Call the Membership Manager at 254-750-8415 or email us at specialevents@cameronparkzoo.com.

When will I receive my membership card?
Please allow 5-7 business days from the time your payment is processed to receive your Membership materials.

I have a Family Membership, can my children visit the zoo without me?
Yes, your children are covered by your membership. You can send your membership card with them or we can look up your membership in our membership booth; however, the adult accompanying your children will

Why have you requested my email address?
In order to pursue our mission of going green, we are trying to lower the amount of paper products that we distribute from the Zoo. We send a monthly e-newsletter and your renewal notices via email. We do not distribute your information to any third parties.

Is a Cameron Park Zoo Membership good at other zoos?
Over 100 other Zoos and Aquariums nationwide participate in reciprocal membership with us, allowing zoo members discounted or free admission to their facility. Be sure and bring your membership card & a photo ID when visiting other zoos. Click here for a list of the zoo we are reciprocal with.

How do I receive discounts at concessions/gift shop?
Show your membership card in the gift shop and café for 10% off your total purchase. Please show your membership card at the beginning of your transaction to receive the discount.

Do I get more than one card?
You will receive two membership cards with both named adults.

What should I if I cannot find my membership card?
You don’t have to miss out on a trip to the Zoo! You can always bring your photo ID to the Membership Entrance for verification of your Membership status and admittance. Please call 254-750-8415 or email specialevents@cameronparkzoo.com to order a replacement card.

Can I lend my card to a friend or family member?
Your Membership is non-transferable, allowing only those adults listed on the Membership cards and their children 17 & under to be admitted free of charge. As we are a non-profit organization that relies on public funding to cover our operating expenses, we try very hard to keep our Membership prices as affordable as possible. Please encourage your friends & family to join so they can also enjoy the Membership benefits.
