We will also offer a 5 day, half-day camp called Zoo Tales for children ages 3-5 (campers must be potty trained) as well as a full-day, full-week Keeper Shadowing camp for students 12 years and up. Our camps are one-week sessions and are available June to August. Campers will enjoy a week filled with amazing art projects, fun games, educational activities and animal encounters! A Zoo Adventure Camp T-shirt and water bottle are included in the registration price.

Who’s Who ~  Campers will learn about the “stars” of Cameron Park Zoo.  Where do they come from? What are their habits?  What is their status in the wild?  These are a few of the questions that will be answered during camp.
(June 4-8 – K-1st & 4th-6th grades are full
and July 9-13 –  K-1st grade is full) 

Feeding Frenzy ~ Did you ever wonder what the animals eat at the zoo?  Find out what our animals feed on and how we provide all their dietary needs.  Help prepare diets for the animal and watch them enjoy their meals.
(June 11-15 – K-1st grade is full
and July 16-20 – K-1st & 2nd-3rd grades are full)

Zoo Mysteries ~ New mysteries and problems to solve at Cameron Park Zoo.  Campers will figure out who-done-it and use their sleuthing skills on scavenger hunts around the zoo.
(June 18-22 - K-1st grade is full
and July 23-27 – 4th-6th grade is full)

Zoo Tales ~ This is a half-day camp for children 3-5 years of age.  There will be stories, crafts, and animal encounters.

Down & Dirty-Keeper Shadowing ~ Are you 12 years or older and have ever wondered what it would be like to be a Zoo Keeper?  Down & Dirty camp is for you.  You will spend the day shadowing keepers and helping make enrichment items for the animals.

T-shirt orders have been placed.  All campers will receive a t-shirt. Registrations after May 11th, t-shirt size is not guaranteed.
